Spring has arrived, and the farm is bustling with activity. The plowing and planting has begun. The creamery is ramping up for the upcoming season. We will reopen on our summer schedule on May 26, 2008. Those hours will be 11a.m. - 6 p.m. every day except Wednesday.
For 2008, we have some new things to see and do. We have some new additions to our goat pen. We have 3 bucklings that have been born on the farm since September. Oreo was born on September 17th, Storm was born on January 21st, and Frosty was born during the ice storm on March 9th. They are cute little guys and for the most part love the attention.
We will also be offering hay rides on a limited basis. At this point, we will only be doing rides on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 3. There will be a charge for this (just to pay for the fuel). The cost will be $2.00 per person with a break for family groups.
